A. Hello. I am Ki-baek, working in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do.
I have been tattooing since 2021, and as a fine arts graduate, I am confident in my quality.
If you trust me and leave it to me, I will always do my best.
The name Ki-baek contains the meaning of a spirited and strong spirit and an enterprising spirit.
Q. What is your most confident genre?
A. Black and grey and Oriental.
I can delicately create black and grey with my long art career,
and I can bring out the feel of Oriental painting in Oriental.
I am more confident because I am usually interested in Oriental painting and put in a lot of effort.
Q. Then where do you mainly get such inspiration?
A. I get it from my favorite nature and flowers.
I get a lot of inspiration from photos I've taken, the internet, and museums.
Q. What is your tendency as a tattoo artist?
A. I value thoroughness and detail, so sometimes close friends call me a pervert...lol
Q. What are your strengths as a tattoo artist and how do your customers react?
A. It is to accurately grasp the needs and delicate details.
Sometimes, they say that they think it's enough to do it around here, but they are very satisfied after time passes.
Q. If you (tattoo artist) have a tattoo on your body, what is your favorite and what is the meaning?
A. It is the first and last self-done Chinese character lettering 喜怒哀樂 (hee-ro-ae-rak), meaning joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure.
It is a friendship tattoo with really precious friends.
It means that we will always be together, whether we are happy, angry, sad, or joyful.
Q. Finally, what do you think tattoos are to you?
A. I think it's an expression of one's own emotions, individuality, art, and a method of expression.
